The Uxbridge Historical Centre is officially re-opening! Starting August 7th, the UHC will be offering tours every Wednesday through Sunday from 10am-4pm. We welcome you to experience the heritage and history of Uxbridge through a guided tour of the Uxbridge Historical Centre's permanent and temporary exhibitions, spread across our 10 historic buildings.

New this year is Quilts on Quaker Hill, an exhibition of 24 quilts from community members and the UHC collection. Presenting quilts...

Uxbridge Town Hall is open to the public during the regular business hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Capacity limits, screening and contact tracing is in effect. Masks required.

Social Distancing is required at all indoor and outdoor Township facilities.

Township to Rebuild South Balsam Storm Water Pond

The Township has received significant funding from the Federal and Provincial governments to support the rehabilitation and upgrading of the Storm Water Pond near South Balsam St. The $2.3 million project was funded with $945,888 from Infrastructure Canada, $788,161 from Ontario Infrastructure for a total of $1.73 million dollars in external funding.

Over the years, accumulated sediment in the pond has reduced the ability to store water and outlet pipes are clogged. The pond is no longer effectively...
