One of the Township of Uxbridge’s most cherished buildings is getting a facelift and structural repairs starting the week of August 23rd. Repairs to the Library Clock Tower will result in some of the masonry and brickwork being restored, the decorative woodwork to be refinished and the wooden louvres replaced. Durham Region Health Department is updating eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine to include third doses for individuals most at-risk of serious illness from the virus. In addition, eligibility is being expanded to include all youth born in 2009, allowing youth that are turning 12 later in 2021 earlier opportunities to be vaccinated.

The Fall Fair has announced that the tractor pull, demolition derby, midway and food vendors will not be part of this year’s Fair.
